I'm looking at Kubota, NH and Massey. I'm starting to lean toward Massey but I wanted to clear something up first. The other dealers are telling me to be careful with the Massey because it's a 3 cylinder vs a 4. Since I'm new to this can someone give me the pros and cons of this? I'm sorry to keep asking so many questions but this is a big investment for me and I want to make sure to get something that will do what I need and last a long time for me. Thanks in advance.

There's lots and lots of three cylinder diesels out there. How big (HP) are you looking?

That's a big three, but nothing to be scared about

I'm still new to this so I don't know a whole lot. Just made me wonder because two dealers have brought it up like it's a bad thing. I guess I need to ask them why.

Yeah, be careful cause it's not what they have that's about it. Horse power and torque do the work. If you want to get technical you can look at the hp & torque curves. I would be more concerned with what type of emmisions control each unit had rather than how many cylinders.

I like the idea that the Massey has no need for particulate filters or def fluid. The T4.75 doesn't either but I'm having trouble paying that much for basically a nicer cab IMO.

Perkins 3 cylinder might be the best Diesel made.
