I'm new to the compact tractor game (I'm a wheelhorse garden tractor guy). I have been thinking about buying a compact tractor for a while since we bought a home on a few acres. Well, a family member just bought some property and the seller has a MF 1125 sitting outside the barn. Family member already has a few tractors and doesn't need it and let us know. Its a low hour machine at just over 600 hours. 2WD, turf tires, 25ph diesel. 3 point, PTO, all the basics. Comes with 6 suitcase weights, 3 point boom pole, and a box blade. Seller is going to take it in and get all tuned up (its been sitting for a few years from the looks of it) All in all really great shape minus the sun fading on the metal and plastics (southern US is where it is). Seller is pretty set on $4k. Is that a fair price for whats there? Anyone have experience with these machines? Any input would be greatly apreciated as this is out of my league as far as tractor knowledge goes.
