I have been looking at a Kioti CK2510 HST with front end loader and drive over mid mount mower. What other tractors should I be looking at with similar capabilities for others that have been looking for same size tractor?

I briefly looked at the CK2510 to compare to a Mahindra 1526, but the 1526 is larger. I'd check out the Mahindra Max or even eMax series for something more comparable.

I would also seriously consider the LS xg3025 or the xg3033. Probably be able to get a great deal on the LS

The Kioti 2510 does not have the mid range, it is a 2 speed. After owning a 2 speed, I would never buy one again. I spend the majority of my time in the mid range, the rest in low range. I only use high range on paved roads. Mid range is where the money is!

That's one of the reasons I'm leaning away from the CK2510, as well as the Mahindra MAX 26XL. I don't think I'd mind being a bit lighter, but I'd prefer to have the 3-spd gearbox.

That's one of the things that ended up moving me to the B2650. I had the BX before and low is often frustratingly slow, but high is nearly unusable. I'm very glad that I now have the mid range.

I think I am down to one of the following:

1. Kioti CK2510 HST
2. Massey Ferguson 1526 (not sure if drive over belly mower is available?)
3. Kubota B2601

LS dealer is too far away, so that unfortunately isn't an option at this point

Some thoughts:

Kioti is the heaviest of the three. Weight=work done. The HST uses a live PTO. Both the Massey and Kubota use Independent. Useful if you are doing PTO work off the tractor, like running a chipper, otherwise not a big deal.

Massey is the middle child, but has miserable 3pt performance(992lbs@24"), 200lbs less than the Kioti and over 400lbs less than the Kubota.

Kubota is lightest, but has most 3pt lift. It, and the Massey, use 3 range Hydros. The Kioti uses a 2 range. I have a 3 range and almost never leave M(medium). I would be disappointed if I went to a 2 range, but maybe you won't miss what you never had.

Hi,

This is a pretty simple choice here. These are small tractors so what ever the 3 point and loader lift capacities are is fine for a small tractor so you don't break something. If you need more you need a bigger tractor. Just evaluated all three last summer and I have several guys I work with running new larger Kioti machines and they are super. Buy the Massey Ferguson for a several reasons. First it has the best paint/fit and finish of the three, second it has a three speed tranny with auto throttle linked petals and third because it has dual pedals verses that annoying Kubota Hydro control. The Kubota does not pick up a full 60" bucket of heavy material particularly well and the dealer attributed that to loss of lift with the SSAQA adapter. The Massey uses an ALO loader which I prefer over the other two. Rolex quality so to speak. The Iseki MMM is not drive over but easy to install, durable and mow quality is almost Allis Chalmers like in performance so you would be very pleased in that regard. I liked the B2650 better than the B2601, especially loader and hydro controls, steering wheel, seat etc and not all that much more money in the grand scheme of things. If orange is your favorite spot on the color wheel, you might try that. In the end it is dealer support that makes the machine what ever one you choose. I run New Holland because they make a nice machine and I have a dealer that provides world class service and support 30 minutes away. Good luck with your search. All of the machines you are considering are excellent choices.
