I'm wanting a bigger tractor, who doesn't? I am going to look at a used 1433V at a local dealer. Other than styling, is there any significant differences between the 14 and 15 series. I have looked at the website and really don't see any big difference. This tractor has only 150 hrs., some factory warranty left and they are asking $9800. No FEL or other implements. Thanks

Except for the engine that actually has some changes, they are completely different. If you could look at them side by side you would see what I mean. That sounds like a really good price.

Mark, Like Jerry said ,That price is almost scary low with only 150hrs. Make sure the 4 wheel drive works and differential lock...plus the rest of the features. See if you can test it out to see if all the drive-line is totally functional.

I have had my 1433v for 2 yrs and like it very much, quite powerful enough for me /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mark- I agree with Nasty and Jerry. I've had my 1433v for about 4 years and it's perfect for my needs- powerful enough to move dirt, snow, logs and yet compact enough to be able to maneuver in fairly heavy timber. It's never let me down.

Thanks for the comments. There are not alot of Massey Fergusons tractors around this area. Only two people I know have one, but they are the larger farm tractors, I don't know anyone with a compact. I have done alot of research and find that as far as specs, the Massey's exceed in most area's against other comparable makes. I am going to try to look at that 1440V tomarrow, I'll get back on what I find.

Went and looked at the tractor today. 1433V not 1440V as I said in my last post. It was a very nice tractor! Warranty until July, 141 hrs. and very clean. The dealer said he would give me $5800 on a trade for my B2150, which was more than I was expecting. I think that I am going to have to get it. I'm afraid if I wait too long to make up my mind it will be gone. Any thoughts on anything I need to ask/look for before I take the plunge?

Thanks

I am not aware of any problems on the 1400s that you would need to watch for. I have had my 1440 for over two years/500 hours and have had zero problems.

The tractor will be here on Monday! Can't wait! I'll get some pictures on when I get it.
