Look who got hitched!

Well I'm back from the honeymoon - perfect weather for the wedding and all through the week. We went to Misquamicut beach in RI for a week. I actually went the better part of a week without getting to Tractorbynet - I didn't think I could do it but I managed. Here are a few pics I'd like to share.

My dog Wally was very impressed by the whole affair. With 90 people watching he was so overwhelmed by the event that he had to slip in a quick "power-snooze". He really had everyone cracking up with his total disinterested approach to the wedding. All the girls put their flowers on him for this shot. I think the party we had the night before must have worn him out.

OK - Since this is a tractor forum - I will cover two bases - the obligatory "cake shot" and if you look in the background you'll see Mr. Deere was also in attendance. More than one of the guys at the party had to go check it out. One wanted to drive it around, but his wife thought that might not be a good idea... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Well that's one tradition I never was too fond of. I'll enjoy a joke as well as anyone, and I can get into trouble with my sense of humor, so I'm not the most serious person in the world, but I"ve never understood the cake smearing thing. We both chose the kindness and respect route - and since this is the 2nd marriage for both of us I've decided to stick with that choice for the rest of our lives /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. It'll be a far site better than my 1st time around!

Marriages are like boats.... they require constant work to keep them operating properly. Having been married only once, I can say that it isn't easy, no matter how many times you try. Unfortunately, if only one tries and the other doesn't, then it is bound to sink..... I am certain that yours will be successful... second marriages usually are because people have learned the lessons of life in the first one.... Didn't I tell you, I wanted to borrow your backhoe whilst you guys were on your honeymoon.

Is that real grass under the tent? It is so green. If so, looks like you need more tractor time to plant the rest of the yard. More seat time and more implements. And, more room for your dog to do his business.

Jeez Kyle - I didn't get back here till today - but anytime you need the BH just come on up! Yes, that's real grass - This is the 1st year I've been here and I've been going all out to get the yard spiffed up for the wedding. Now that it's over I've switched back to moving fill into a low section in our back yard. Next comes top-soil, and seeding. I've made the yard quite a bit bigger so far - All a plot of course so I can get a nice riding mower next. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
