Technically, it's used, though 21 hours hardly seems used to me. The specifics: 2008 5425 cab, 12/12 powrreverser, 553 loader, 49 backhoe, MDS rock bucket, MX7 shredder.

It only gets to play on weekends, so no action pictures yet. I've got a lot of neglected land to clean up, so I'm sure I'll have plenty of photos in the weeks ahead.

Wow, had to take a minute to wipe up the drool!!! Very nice, and I agree 21 hrs. hardly seems used. Sharp looking set-up, keep the pictures coming.

Thanks for all the welcomes, it's good to be here at long last. I've been lurking on this forum for two years, but now it's time to finally join in the fun.

Yes, the hoe controls are outside the cab, but I don't have to do anything in the cab except set the throttle. Everything else takes place on the jump-seat of the hoe. I was told that you almost never see a cab tractor with a backhoe on it, but I needed a hoe bad on account of I have a lot of trees and stumps to dig up. The real fun will come when it's time to take the hoe off and put the shredder on. Not even the guy who delivered it had ever removed a hoe before.

Provided we don't get our weekly blizzard again this coming weekend, I hope to move some brush and tear out a tree or two. I'll be sure to grab some pics and post them. Honestly, it was looking at all the pics on here that finally made me realize I really needed to get a tractor if I was ever going to complete all my clean-up projects in this lifetime.

Geez...I guess I should have sucked up to the Easter Bunny. Oh well, I can always try and schmooze the Tooth Fairy for a new rig with a cab.

I would like to see some pics of the backhoe set up. I also want a full and detailed account when you try to take the backhoe off. I'm switching implements on my 5425 quite often. Don't know that I would want to mess with a backhoe attachment. :D

Around eighty horsepower.....Now that is a tractor!!! Oh and I did laugh right out loud at the poster who said he had to take some time to wipe up the drool. All the responses were GREAT!!

man, that thing will really cut some grass.......i mean the big tractor.....

nice looking setup, my neighbor has basically the same tractor 85hp?? with a 10' bush hog......you don't want to be standing near it when he takes out 4" trees......it can be a religious experience....

yep, some photos would be good...
