Jet engines are rated in pounds of thrust and the TFE-731 5BR is rated at sea level to have 4,750 lbs. The TFE-731 engines are very reliable and dominate in the bizjet market.

You've also got a flat panel cockpit and upgraded FMS/FCMS instead of old "steam" gages. Very nice! When going to training, you must feel like you are driving a Model A. What a difference.

Actually it was fine, but when I got in the real deal to fly for the first time (training) - it was really tough. The panel retrofit not only updated the displays but moved most every switch imaginable to a different location. You spend all that time learning where everything is (almost by feel with your eyes closed), and now I have to do it again!

The 731's are an awesome power plant!
