Price Check Look what I found! L price list & options

While looking around trying to find out if a creeper option is available for the GL3240 FST (it is!!!) I came across this wonderful PDF that contains the suggested retail price for the Kubota L and GL tractors AND all the options that are available for each tractor along with prices for the options! None of these prices include dealer installation fees but it still gives you a lot of useful information.

Oooh thanks! This is going to prove usefull dealing for my backhoe. I just checked the prices in here against what I was quoted today and the dealer is high by about $1400.00 . Nice profits.

I'm guessing there is probably freight costs ,mfg - dealer, on top of these prices?

Hope you like the snow, because you will definitely get your share of it! I would highly recommend the factory cab with whatever tractor you get. I almost didn't get one, and after the first winter with it I am very glad I did.

Munising is smack in between Marquette and Sault Ste Marie but since it isn't on the top 10 list I figure the high winds off da big lake must blow all the snow out of Munising onto Marquette and the Sault!

I'm going to have a 1/4 mile driveway to keep clear going up a minor incline. The 3030 is tempting but the blower for the 3240 has a 24" fan and a 27" tall cut. Seems to be quite the implement. Cab is a definite part of the package.

Where abouts are you? Does your 3030 handle the snow good for you?

I don't know how fair it is to use this list as a bargaining tool because who knows what overhead there is that needs to be added to these prices. For example I asked Carver about the creeper gear for the GL3240 and they said the part is $515 (just like it says in the PDF) but installing it would cost somewhere around $1200 because the tractor has to be cracked in two to install it. So the total price would be around $1715. So there's more to it than just looking at the prices in the PDF. What is useful is to see what options are available and comparing prices. For example how much more do R4s cost over R1s? How much more is a HST over an FST? Etc.

It's a good research tool but probably not a bargaining tool (IMHO).

The price they quoted me is with no install or labor . I do everything myself as far as work and upgrades on my tractors. So in this case it would be an effective tool in seeing how much they are marking up from list. The only other factor being freight costs like I asked about.

Munising does get quite a bit of snow, check out the link. Although you probably now this already if you are moving up here. I am in the Crystal Falls area, we don't get that much snow. My B3030 handles the snow very good. All I use is the loader, don't have a snowblower because of our lack of the big snow here, and my drive is much shorter than yours.

Yeah, I was just kidding about Munising not getting snow and according to the Mining Journal it sounds like they got 2 inches of hail yesterday! Holy Wah (practicing my yooper-speak).

It looks to me like you're having some fun with that 3030. Did you buy it in Marquette and if so is he a good dealer?
