Long Time Lurker Finally Registers

Howdy!

I've been lurking in the forum for months now, reading through the incredible detail and practical information in the old posts. I've neglected to register until now. But I've decided I better register so I can ask questions and hopefully get some feedback on some ongoing projects.

My wife and I recently bought property in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and are beginning to build a cabin in the woods. Projects include clearing land, building the cabin site, building a garage, putting in a road, cleaning up a pond, making trails, and dozens of others.

I'm lucky enough to have access to 3 tractors, none of which really work. All were born before I was.

You must be one of the very small number of people moving into Michigan. The UP is really special, eh? Are you close enough to one of the cities that you can get broadband?
