I am a hobby grazier, always out working in the paddock, fencing, picking up fallen timber, burning, digging and sweating. I currently plait my hair to wear under my hat, and use water only to rinse the sweat and dirt out every day.
I wash it with homemade tallow shampoo bar once per week.
Any tips for hair care on the farm?

When someone mentions long hair and sweating I think of the blond girl who sometimes sat in front of me in elementary school. The sweat in her hair must have occasionally soured because it sometimes smelled. It's been over sixty years and I still associate that stench with her.

I can't offer any advice here; I keep my hair fairly short because it's thick and acts as a sponge with sweat. After I left the Army I was going to grow my hair out like a rock star, or some such thing. No, instead I developed a skin condition and had to keep it shaved for... too long.

I can tell you that I've never discussed hair on a tractor forum, but there is a conversation about Crocs in a thread about mowing accidents, so it's not too crazy. 🤷‍♂️
