Long block vs normal Ford 4500?

I discovered that my 67 Ford 4500 3 cyl diesel has a cracked block between cylinders 2&3. Looking for a new block or engine. I found a site that lists a long block and a normal block, both for the 4500. What's the difference between these? If I'm replacing the engine, can I swap one for the other? Any way to tell what I currently have?

Long block usually means complete from pan to valve cover and usually includes the front timing cover.
It likely would not include the manifolds, water pump, injector pump and lines and injectors on a diesel, or carburator and governor if a gasser.
I've never heard of a normal block.
Around here we call it a short block.
Short block would include block, crank, pistons.
It would not include the head, pan, timing cover or any other peripherals.
A crate engine would likely include everything - even the starter. Drop it into the tractor, hook up fuel lines and radiator hoses and go.

Here's the two. So the long designation doesn't denote a physical size, but contents?

They are all basically the same, the yellow engine has more applications listed for some reason. Since they are all from the same dealer, give them a call for any differences. For me, pricing and warranty would help me make up my mind. If the used engine is relatively low hours and warranted, I would prefer it.
