My long 460 45hp tractor has a steady oil leak. So I replaced the rear seal which fixed the main oil leak but I still have a steady leak coming from between the block and the bell housing half way up on the left side only when its running.

Found it. I had an "AHHAH" moment after I wrote the post. There is an oil passage with a plug (looks like a tiny freeze plug) in it on the back of the block. It had somehow gotten sideways a little which caused a pretty good leak. I was able to clean everything up and reuse the plug which no longer leakes. I can break my tractor in two including removing flywheel and bell housing in 1hr 30mins now heheh.

Cool, now all you need is an extra $1250 and you can put a low gear reduction box in it (I ended up adding an Allis 160 to the "stable" just to keep from doing that (needed a much slower gear for tilling, etc)
