We had an old elm tree in our yard die so last week I cut it down. This is a picture taking one of the logs out to the back of our property. I'm glad I didn't have to move it with the wheel barrow. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Nice picture Rick! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

How do you like that ST35? During my search, I found a nearby AGCO dealer that had a ST40 with HST on the lot. He said I could get it for $13,300.00 (bare tractor). How does that rank against your ST35? What did the loader go for?

I was impressed with the AGCO line when I looked at them. The dealer seems pretty good also. I know you mentioned that your dealer is about 60 miles away. I guess if he's the closest AGCO dealer, I could live with it. Has he given you good support so far?

Gene,
Cool pic. Tractor seems to handle a decent size log. BTW,
nice lawn.

The tractor was $18,700 and the included: the Woods loader, engine heater, hydrualic remotes, filled tires with rim guard, 13.6-24 tires, 66" bucket, shuttle shift. The dealer: Duible Equipment is great, super nice to deal with. The factory tool box was a small plastic thing so I replaced it with a larger one from a D-series Allis Chalmers. The rear work light was a $90 option so I bought one at TSC for $10 and wired it up myself. Since I'm an AC guy I put AC decals on the Woods loader. I have also bought a tooth bar form a large Woods dealer called Wobma Equipment for just $210 I would highly recommend getting one, it makes a huge difference.

I forgot to mention that I bought the loader with the optional quick detach bucket like the newer Bobcats use. Then I have a set of quick attach pallet forks that can snap on to the loader in minutes. Over the winter I bought the wheel weights at my local Agco dealer.

Whatever I get will definitely have a loader with the Bobcat style quick attch system, a HD bucket or 4-in-1 with tooth bar, Shuttle shift or HST (doesn't matter to me other than the $$), extra remotes, and R4's. I haven't decided about filled tires yet, but I'll look at them.

Thanks for the info. That price I was given sounds pretty good. Kind of wish I could buy now. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Who knows what'll happen over the next few months? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
