That's pretty much what I was thinking... faster than I could split with an axe or maul & wedge. 20 years ago, swinging a maul for hours was not a problem. Now days... I don't know if they make enough muscle relaxers and pain killers.
If the setup proves to be too slow, I could always add a PTO pump that delivers a higher GPM than the tractor's implement pump.
