Do you guys suffer this silly Log-In verification every month? It may be coincidence but it only happens since I got my new laptop.
I find it a pain considering I didn't have to do it on any of my other computers/tablets. I try to open TBN and it sends a code to my email I have to enter before continuing. aaahrg.. I hate it.

I don't remember ever seeing that behavior on this site, and I'm certainly not getting it once a month.

Some anti-virus software can get rather aggressive about deleting browser cookies that maintain site data.

I've never seen that from this site. I do have my bank account set up to send me a verification code before logging in.

Go into your Account Settings. Under Password And Security, there's a Two-Step Verification setting. You can Disable it there.

Is "Two-step verification" enabled on your account?

Never had that type of login problem and had to use a code sent to email. I used to be able to click on TBN from my laptop bookmarks and be logged in automatically but my laptop system has updated recently and now I do have to log in each day. I haven't found out what changed. Apparently when I shut down at night it logs me off both TBN and TNT.

When you log in, check the box that says "Stay logged in". Also check your browser settings to see if it is set to clear your cache when you close your browser. You can select what you want to clear, including passwords, form auto fill data, etc.

Thanks for the help. I have checked some boxes, hopefully the right ones so we will see what happens.

I have Optus and Ipstar. It is the same on both. Also it is on all laptops, pcs and tablets so it has to be in the account settings but the silly thing is, I have never changed anything in there. Anyway I will know in a months time if I ticked the right boxes. Lol. It's only since they updated the website.

This NSW covid is horrendous. Hope it stays out of the other States and they get it under control.

Never on TBN. Sometimes when registering on a new site. A "code" is sent to my cell phone. But that's only for first time registration.

I've only seen that on financial sites (IRA administrator, etc.), never on TBN. If I close my browser (Chrome) it "forgets" I was logged in here, but that's OK...most of the time I visit I just lurk anyway.

IMO...With a few exceptions like with banks, credit card companies and possibly some merchants etc...there is no reason to give any web site a telephone #...it's just asking for spam and robocalls...!

Possibly a variation in IP address by your Internet provider.

Gmail now requires you to give a CELL # in order to set up an email account. I don't know why...they give some lame reason "so we know you are who you say you are" o_O I don't know how it knows, but they won't accept a landline #. No cellphone, no email. No dice.
Some sort of crackdown on "burner" email addresses?

That's just like Google to do something like that. They no-doubt sell your number or present you with endless ads.

They think they own the world. 😎
