Hi posted this in another area but this looks more like the correct section for this question.

Hello all.

I have been left my dads 95 model KX 151 and have some how locked the hydraulic that controls the arm.
In the past I would just ask my dad but he has passed away from asbestos cancer and I'm left in a bind.

I was operating the machine and suddenly the hydraulic to the arm locked, similar to the safety lever when dis-engaged when leaving the cab.
The problem has happened to me in the past but my dad always said I had hit the foot lever on the floor that switches the Boom swing to Machine swing.
I never actually seen how he activated the arm/bucket.

Every thing else on the machine works , blade up and down, tracks etc but nothing happens when moving the controls for bucket.

I have moved the boom/machine swing lever in all directions but still nothing.
Is there a trick to re-activating the bucket hydraulic again or is some thing else creating the problem?

Thanks
Jack

The two safety levers on the consoles have switches that must be closed to power up a solenoid on the change valve. Without the solenoid energized, you will not have any pilot controls functional.

You could run a jumper wire to it to verify this is the problem and then find the bad switch.

Good luck
