Loader Location of fuse box for 5085m

Hi,

Can someone tell me the location of the fuse box for an open canopy 5085M?

My grapple on my 5085M with 553 loader stopped working on Sunday. Seems electrical in nature and I don't hear the solenoid click so thinking it the coil, thumb switch or a fuse.

After viewing parts catalog I think fuse box(key 28) in under cowling in front of instrument panel or under hood. Elect problem could be faulty relay. I think you need to acquire a JD 5085M tech manual.

Thanks Jim, it's a start. I check it out this weekend.

I read somewhere that I can check the coil resistance to see if a coil is shorted. At 12V and 2.6A I should read about 4.5 Ohms. Sounds about right?

This seems to be the harness that the coils/solenoids connect to. There are 2 relays at the end. Looks like that maybe behind the seat area.

I checked the coils and they read 4.8ohms, so not the issue. I found the 2 relays in the back tapped them with a wrench and the grapple started to work.

Therefore I think I have an intermittent relay issue so think I am going to get 2 new ones
