Loading tires on a JD4520 cab?

I did some quick calculation and it works out to $260 per tire at $1.25 per liter. so $520 + a service call. Not sure if that includes taxes. I think I am looking at around $650 to 700 total.

Hmm, i got my DK45 tires filled with rim guard for $397.50 including labor. The tire dealers like les schaub carry it on their service trucks. (in US) not sure about canada. Here it costs about $0.28/pound and there is about 11 #/gallon (according to some sites i looked up). My dealer charged me $3.75/gal installed

I have found a dealer here for RimGuard - about 1 hr 15 min away. He will come out or send a local tire guy out to do it. It ain't cheap! $1.25 per liter! About 4 bucks a gallon. I have no idea how many gallons will go in these 17.5L-24 tires.

As to your original question, we have WWF in the rear tires of both of our cab tractors and we have used the FEL on both without any additional ballast on the 3PH, but for optimal effectiveness and safety additional weight is needed at least on ours.

Your Operator Manual may address this.
