Loader tough control and "Jerky" when lowering
I have a Case DX33 Farmall which is the same a the New Holland TC33DA. It has the 14LA loader and the tractor has around 1200 hours. In a different post about a HST noise issue I mentioned that I have not yet changed the hydraulic fluid since I have owned it which is only since fall of last year. As far as condition the tractor could almost pass as new so I would assume if the PO took the time to clean and wax it he would also change all the fluids on time. I plan on changing all hydro fluid and filters ASAP but I am trying to pry to money out of the old lady's hand for AMSOIL. That stuff is not cheap but it would also help with the cold temps I get in our Michigan winter.
The loader recently has become a little tough to control when lowering, and once in a while it will start to bounce or get a little jerky on the way down with either a loaded buck or empty. The only think I remember changing since this started is I put a little penetrating oil on the joints on the loader joystick. Any ideas on what would cause this?
