You are right on the money there about that brace. I have thought about removing that when I go to unhook the loader. If you look in where the loader frame sets into a saddle, it looks like to me the loader frame is tight against the inside of the saddle on both sides. The dealer told me that I would have to remove the side panels of the engine and tap the pins out, then clean the inside of the holes up and the pins. Grease everything and it should be ok. His reasoning for the problem is Kioti installed that loader, which they did. He said when they install the loader they clean everything up first and grease everything. I will try again this weekend. I need the loader off to work down in the woods. Not my idea of easy on and off setup. Hopefully it will go better next time.

Bummer. Rest assured that Kioti is not the only tractor with this type of loader. I know that doesn't really help much; sometimes misery doesn't want company. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Anyway, I never figured out a good way to remove and reinstall that type of loader. I don't think it's just you. It is a sturdy loader, but it flat isn't easy to remove and put back on. If you learn any tricks or modifications that will help, I'm sure hundreds of others would be happy to know.

The pins on the loader only have a 90 degree handle.

Ok, your pins are different than mine.

My loader does not have the bar across the hood. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif When I first saw the new CK's, that is what I didn't like and mentioned here on TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif ALL loaders should be designed without that bar!!

Differant pins than mine also. And I have no bar across the hood.

The bar over the hood was discussed before by a dealer I believe. If I remeber correctly, the bar is there to reinforce the brackets that stay put. The bar prevents flexing and is usually found on tractors that have a mid PTO for attachments. If the tractor does not have a mid PTO, then the bar or bracket can be mounted under between the loader brackets / receivers. Maybe that dealer who mentioned this before can confirm this.

You are correct... they did put it on the DK45s which also has one under the tractor as well. We just dismounted the KL451 loader on our lot and found it very easy to take off, even with the bar. It would be difficult if the pin holes were not cleaned out or greased upon assembly though.

I like that bar, gives me a place to mount a box and FOPS.

When you dismounted the loader did you have to hit the pins to get them to come out? Did they just pull out? Mine will never get loose enough to even turn by hand, no matter which position I put the loader. Did you just set the loader down on the jacks until the pins came loose? Just wondering if it is something I'm doing wrong.

Yes the pins just came out... Had to wiggle some. We have seen on some loaders the need to grind the holes open some, and it just varies from installation to installation. I would almost bet this is your problem.
