loader question

Well, I bought my first jd tractor. a used 6215. So far pretty happy. I have a question about my loader controls. Their are two buttons on the top of the joystick that look like fast or slow controls. but I cannot get them to do anything. The loader is a 562 self leveling. Is this something else or is my loader not working properly. Their is also a nonfunctional trigger for a grapple i believe but i am not concerned with that.

buttons you are seeing w/ rabbit and turtle are for tractors with the powerquad/powerquad + trans and was just a additional spot to control those shifts. The 6215 does not utilize those swithces. But since the loader fits multiple applications many times the switches will be there.
