I have a jd 1023e ..when I pull back slowly to raise the bucket it actually goes down ,like it's bypassing somewhere..if I pull all the way, it goes right up and is fine. Holds and everything just fine. Any ideas? Somewhere in the joystick control? Thanks

Yeah, this is one thing I did not like about the lemony 1025R that I had for nearly 2 years between the 4010 (like a 2019E, if they made them) and the present 2025R. I would have NEVER trusted the 1025's loader to put something into the bed of my pickup.

By comparison, the 2025's H130 loader is virtually bullet proof. Best loader I've owned among the 3.

How old is the machine?

JD did have an issue with some of the early 1023/1026 models and were replacing the valves, but I'm not sure this program is still available.

If that valve has load check it is not working. This may be the problem that Ken references.

Dan,
Do Google search for this: DTAC 92992

You should find hours of reading, this was covered extensively on the G-T-T forum.
