I have a 4700 Compact Tractor which gets alot of loader work. The loader has begun to get loose on the support bar, that 4x4 steel bar that runs under the tractor. Anyone else experience this and if so, were you able to correct it?

The towers that support the lift arms should have a clamping mechanism that ties them to the subfram. That information should be in the installation manual and the torque values. The subfram may also be lose, again refer to the installation manual.

I don't have any personal experience, but if you do a search there are several threads about these kinds of problems. ( I used "Loader shims" as my search criteria in the J.D. owning/operating forum.)
