Have a TN85A and yesterday I went to move snow and the joystick wouldn't move to raise or lower the loader.
I gave it a bit of pressure and the pivot point down on the valve broke, so now the joystick moves but does not activate the valve.
Is this a replaceable item or am I looking at a new valve.
Pretty cold out so I haven't really looked too hard at how it goes together, maybe someone can enlighten me.

thanx

With any luck, perhaps the broken part is just the pivot at the base of the lever. Try to warm the valve body (trouble light or heater) before trying to move the lever again. Is the tractor outdoors? Did it get rain or snow on it before the cold snap? Is it cold enough to cause the hydraulic fluid to thicken? Use care not to use excessive force.

Some of the newer tractors have a safety lock. If you look at the base of your control lever there might be a pin with a collar that you can pull out.

The pivot point is busted, it's not the collar on the joystick, it's the part on the valve, that much I was able to see before the bitter cold sent me back to the house.
the bucket tilt worked fine but the up/down wouldn't move. Didn't have any ice or snow on the valve.
the parts view online is about worthless.

turns out there is a cheesy cast part that acts as the pivot point and it sheared off. luckily it comes off easy and only costs around 6 bucks.
