Because of the way the steering is set up on the MF-50, adding a front mounted hydraulic pump will limit steering on one side considerably. Massey had a special steering arm to alleviate the problem but they are rare as hens teeth. Running the pump off the pto limits what you can do with the loader installed. I have seen an MF 50 running a loader off the tractor hydraulics but it was pretty slow although if you have the time it works. For great information look up Big Dean's website for Massey's
