Hi guys I have a massey 1532 and I recently removed the loader because I was working on the tractor and it was in my way. I had a bugger of a time getting the quick connects back together and even had to bleed some pressure off a couple of lines from the loader side. After I got it all put back together, I don't have any dump or down pressure. I have since connected and reconnected the hoses and the functions work every so often. I called the dealer today and a service tech told me I have bad quick connects. He said they just "go". I have had the loader off no more than six times so I find it hard to believe the Qd's are bad.

My couplers are the type that you pull straight out and then push the hose back in to re-engage.

This has me baffled. I need to keep up with my snow.

Anybody have some insight?

don't know if they are color coded for you. trace the lines and be sure that the two for the loader go to the loader valve, If you get one of the bucket and one of the loader it will shut the whole loader down.

I gotta agree with your dealer, sounds like a QD problem. Sometimes not using things is worse than using them:confused:

Just a thought, and maybe this doesn't have anything to do with your particular problem, but I've learned that it's important to shut off the engine and work the loader valve in all directions before uncoupling the hoses, to remove the pressure. They can be almost impossible to remove or recouple under pressure. I don't know if they could be damaged that way?
