What is a good price on a loader for a BX 2230? I already have the control valve on my machine because I have a snowblower. Thanks!

$18 is a good price.
But anything under $1,500 for a very lightly used one should strike your fancy...$1,200 for a more used one...$1,900 for a brand new one...especially if you find one without the control valves already mounted...I think that is a rarer bird. My stick is mounted to the FEL frame. As I recall, that is how most were configured at my dealership, but it may not be representative.
This differs from how they are today. All machines come wtih mounted control valves, FEL or not. Pretty good way to go unless you never plan on adding a FEL, I guess...that'd just look funny.
Good luck, though. I think it is generally difficult to find an FEL without a tractor or someone willing to part the two. They are worth more together.
