Does my 2017 XR4140 with 4104 loader have a float position and how do I work it?
I’ve look in my loader manual and couldn’t find it.

Agreed.Just push the stick all the way forward. You should feel a click and the lever with stay in that position.

Very good point. Some float positions are very hard to go in, specially if it's a cable operated setup and it's not adjusted properly. Another issue is moisture getting into the detent part of the valve and cause all kinds of troubles.Just so you know, the first time I did this I felt like I was going to break something
Unless you didnt use the Power Beyond Port on the loader valve, the WR Long kit shouldnt have any effect on float control.Nope … couldn’t wait that long. Went out to tractor to try it. I’m pushing pretty hard. YouTube videos I’ve seen of other tractors it seems like just a firm solid push gets it done.
I didn’t mention it but two years ago I installed the WR Long third function kit for my grapple. It included a new loader handle.
Now I’ll have to wait till tomorrow to investigate.
