I have a 2013 J2030H. I made a plow that attaches to the bucket. The problem I have is when I put the loader in float the bucket won't stay in the position it was in. Ideally I want the bucket angled down slightly and the loader arms in float. If I angle the bucket downward now the bucket "floats" upward until it sits flat on the ground. Also, with the loader not in float, I can lift the bucket upward by hand and then it'll drop back to the original position. This doesn't seem right to me. My dealer is aware and is "checking into it for me". Any thoughts?

Perhaps some loader valves have this as a feature. Mine are not that way and Im sure glad. I think they owe you a valve that isolates arm float from curl, as is conventional.

It sounds backwards like the lines are crossed, if I am hearing you right the tilt floats but the raise does not.

Raise the lift arms and then put it into float.

If the lift arms descend to the ground, then the float is working normally.

If you can move the bucket curl by hand, then I would work the bucket curl fully about 10 times to expel any air in the cyl.

Good info. The arms float as they should, just seems bucket doesn't stay put. I will certainly try cycling the curl tomorrow and see if it helps. Keep em coming if you have any other ideas. Thanks for the help!
