Can you adjust the level of a bucket? one of the cylinders is approx. I/4 inch different from the other

Not really. They work on oil pressure so should equal themselves out. Have you made sure both rear tires are the same air pressure? This will make a difference in the measurements. Considering if you are measuring from ground to bucket, not length of cylinder. Check for worn out bushings or a bent mount.

I would guess a bent mount as loaned it out to family member and found out he was using it as a dozer

Check/tighten ALL the loader frame bolts...sometimes they have a tendency to loosen up, especially on newish tractors...I hit mine with an impact wrench just to make sure. BobG in VA
