Loader bucket creep

Anyone know why the bucket on my loader continues to move up after I let the control lever go? It moves very slowly but continues in an upward direction. This does not happen when I roll it down.

I'm no expert but it sounds like the valve is sticking in the up position. How old is the machine?

I take it you have the joy stick? They do need a little oil on the linkage from time to time. You might not even notice it when it starts to happen.

The tractor is a 2000 L3710 and it does have a joystick. Thanks, I'll put a little WD40 on the linkage.
