Does anybody have any close up pictures of any backhoe and the subframe on a 3054? Kioti BH and frame pictures would be nice. I'm pondering the concept of building a subframe for whatever backhoe I might end up with in the near future. I was measuring just how big a backhoe would be off the 3 point arms and I can see why people don't recommend using just a straight 3 point backhoe. That thing would be way out there.
thanks
Jim

P.S. If you have some large pictures and don't really feel like posting them here, private mail me and I'll give you my home email address.

Jim sub frames are Cheep!!!

Like less than $400.

Heck order a Kioti sub and be done.

Also Kioti hoes are some the the least expensive out there.

While I am on the word "Heck" you should see a Woods sub I have one on a DK45 "here's the beef"

Holler back

Dave

I'm sure there's someone out there that has some pics of the proper 3054 sub and hoe. Maybe they'll post soon. John

I have to get a digital camera. Have my 3054XS BH removed right now could get some great pictures. Something to think about is I doubt any mfg.s warranty would cover anything without the proper sub-frame. The BH comes off and should go back on easily and they are designed to handle the additional stress of the BH. For the money, go with the frame designed for your tractor. Just my humble opinion.

My 3054 is out of warranty. I bought it used from the previous owner. It does not have a Kioti loader but a Buhler Allied loader. Its a tough loader and seems to be made nice, but its different than the Kioti's frame underneth the tractor.
Also, I have a somewhat limited budget to work with. And I have all the tools (welder/plasma/drills) to make any kind of subframe I might need.

Any pictures would be greatly appreciated. Even if the BH is not attached that would be fine too.

thanks again
Jim

I currently have a 3054 with a Mazzotti backhoe 230 (8.5) and a allied buehler loader. The backhoe attaches to the three point hitch and has a pump that goes on the pto. I can snap pictures of the frame that comes back from the loader to the rear axle and i can also show you pics with the backhoe on.
Will that help you?

devildog,
I believe Jim has built his own subframe for the backhoe (did a really nice job of it too !!) since he posted this question, but I'm sure he will appreciate the offer.

Thanks devildog for offering. Heres a pic of the sub frame I made.

I do have a question regarding yours: Does your backhoe have a subframe? You mentioned it was 3 point and 8.5', seems large for only a 3 point on these tractors.

Also, have you lifted anything really heavy with the Buhler loader? I noticed today that the front mount that goes on the frame is slightly bent down on the ends, its under the grill. I guess I'll have to strengthen it up. The hard part will be straightening it out.

I'd be putting a subframe under that machine ASAP.

Hey guys, I could use similar help. I bought a IH backhoe, looks identical to the Kioti KB2365. The only difference is the sub frame. The IH came with a nice subframe, I just need to modify it. I have a manual for the KB2365, so I know what it looks like, I just don't have any measurements for the it. Can anyone help me out. TIA.
