LK3054 S/N Missing a digit/character

I have a used Kioti LK3054. According to the manufacturers stamped plate, the Serial Number is 26500339.

My Kioti dealer / service center has brought it to my attention that this serial number is missing a digit or character. I’ve done many internet searches trying to verify this information.

Can anyone point me to the answer?

That is a very early LK3054. The "265" in your serial number is the model designation. What is missing from the serial number is the 1st digit, which would identify the model year. Since the serial number plate has the Lely designation, this puts the tractor somewhere around 1995 before Daedong USA was fully established. At that time, Lely was the importer distributor for Daedong (KIOTI). We have seen 1996 tractors that have the updated Model Year designation, so for searching parts, you would be safe considering the tractor as a 1995.
