LK 30 TLB

   / LK 30 TLB #11
You said it patches, you said it. The mini-boss pulled me aside a couple of months ago and said "Dad, you work too much and you make work more important than the family and that is not right.", took me a month or so, and a few concessions, but will be starting a new job in three weeks.

From the mouths of babes right?

Hope you have a great weekend,
Joel

Check with Rick Wallace, sounds like you got the old manuals with a new machine.

All, I just looked at the LK30 this morning 4-24-09. It seems like a sturdy-built machine.

Do you owners have any complaints?
What is the fuel burn?

I live at 9,100' in the Colorado mountains and wondering is 30hp enough?

Thanks all
Keith

As noted previously I've got the very close cousin, an LK3054XS.

I've been very pleased with my machine, I really like the unique (to Kioti) method of backhoe attachment, it's a four point mount that is easy to take on and off and results in a nice rigid mount that is high and tight against the tractor. I do not have the bars under the tractor as it is nicely integrated into the frame of the tractor.

I'm very pleased with my machine, strong, easy to opperate and I understand the LK30 has a larger hydraulic pump which is a good thing. I think you'd have slightly more HP. I've never wanted for HP, but I use primarily as a TLB, and when hoe is off I use box blade. I can not imagine my machine having trouble with the properly sized mower or tiller.

Again, I am very pleased and would purchase again no questions asked.

Good luck,
Joel

I am not sure how yours works, search for threads as this recently came up.

For me, I remove the hoe, I swap my hydraulic lines around so that I cut out the circuit to the hoe. I remove the line from the loader valve to the hoe and remove return line from hoe to hydraulic block and take line from loader straight to the block.

I think you have a slightly different set up and need to turn the valve on the hydraulic block.

Sorry, again do a search, someone just ran into this with a newer machine like yours.

There's nothing mechanically wrong, it's just you need to sort out the settings.
