I just bought and payed for an unseen used tractor from a person I dont know, and I have not picked it up yet.
It looked like this on the net:

Im going to pic it up this saturday. (if the tractor and the man exists)
Its a three hour drive.
You may comment on the tractor, but i prefer you have your thoughts regarding the way I did it for yourself. (17000kr = 3100$)

I am not sure how your area is but I have had good luck buying over the internet. I have bought a plow (4 hours away), grain drill (4 hours away) and combine (3 hours away) all like you have (except I talked to the people to make sure they could load my trailer). So far all three items have been well represented and I can't complain at all.

That Massey looks to be in good shape so hopefully you will not regret it. One thing I have learned is there is a lot of equipment out there so if something about the deal makes you think twice then just walk away.

I believe that is a PTO-powered, pull-behind snow thrower with a chute that lets you throw the snow to the right or left.

Th only problem I can see is in how you actually paid for it. I have done internet purchases of pricey items like this where the money changed hands upon pickup....... in your case you have already paid them the money before seeing/pickup - maybe a little risky?
