In looking at upgrading my BX24 to a B3030, B26 or L3400, I'm confused by the Live-continuous rear PTO with overrunning clutch that is listed in the L3400 specks. Can anyone explain how that is different that the BX24 rear PTO which I engage with a clutch while the tractor is moving or stationary? Thanks.

I think it might just sound a little different because the 3400 is available with a gear transmission. A live PTO can be ran without the tractor being in gear. All the hydrostatic models are this way and most gear models are as well. Although some new and quite a few older model tractors have PTOs that are powered off of the transmission... so you have to be moving to turn the PTO.
