Frank ... I have a JD Brush Trimmer (String Trimmer). I have 3 attachments for it.
1. String trimmer
2. Brush cutter (3 blades that can handle 3/4" stalks)
3. Tiller attachment.
The tiller attachment has 4 discs with 4 tiller tines each. They can be inverted to change the tilling width. They can till about 7-10 inches deep. Great for small plots. The biggest drawback is this thing is HEAVY. It's made like a tank. Ocassionally, a golf-ball sized rock can jam it too.
I DO like the diversity of the trimmer though. And the thing starts and runs like a JD.
