Got lucky this time, hopped up in the cab to start the backhoe after a couple weeks. luckily as I was trying to start it one hit my hat. I hopped out to adjust the jumper cables and when I looked up there were 3 or 4 white face Hornets and low and behold a nice nest right over my sholder... phew. first spray!!

Your very lucky, I was swarmed 11 years ago and nearly killed by a basketball sized nests inhabitants and after 400 immunization shots the only thing I am blessed with lifetime immunity against is honeybees.
