Looks like my areas oldest Dodge truck dealer is toast. They've been around for about 80 years.....
We already had a GMC/Pontiac dealer close down about 2 months ago. Must have seen the writing on the wall. lol
Man, just having the Chrysler dealerships close will probably bump the unemployment rate up another 1%. When GM closes their dealerships, wow....2600 dealerships in round one alone!
Each dealership probably has an average of 100 employees & salespeople.
Really sad. More abandoned buildings, more unemployment, more dispair in the USA.
But as said before-it has to happen. They have to get smaller, then hopefully rebuild stronger.
I hope they can stay free of gov't & union influence, but looks like it's too late for that for Chrysler, what did they say? it'll be part union & part gov't owned? Better off bankrupt, like GM will be.
