Linked pedal adjustment?

I have have a Dk4210SE hydro with the linked pedal option. Almost every time I start the tractor I have to tweak the handle throttle for the linked pedal to work. Typically just move it up and then back down quickly. Otherwise when I push on the foot pedal the rpm's don't increase as I push down on the pedal. Tweaking the hand throttle fixes the problem every time.

Any thoughts?
