I saw this over in the Yanmar-New forum. I thought readers here would be interested too.

I came across this nice document titled "100 years of Yanmar" explaining the company's history from 1912 to 2012.

This would be a good read for all the Yanmar fans out there or for anyone considering a new Yanmar tractor.

Very cool, thanks for sharing! I love reading the history of these great companies. I've always known Yanmar for their marine inboard diesels on sailboats. Have had my JD 330 for 5 years, and that was my first diesel "tractor". Been a diesel head since around 2000 when I bought my first VW diesel ( a Rabbit, 48 hp, 53 MPG... but they should have called it a turtle)...
