LineX on foot rests

I'm not even sure what the footrests on a Utility/lawn tractor are called, but I'm curious if anyone has removed the rubber mats and did something like LineX instead? My last tractor rusted beneath them due to trapped water I believe. I was thinking of doing something different while the tractor is new, and before any rusting or anything happens. I'm wondering how it holds up, and if anyone has any pics.

The shot answer is yes, I have seen several people put various sorts of bed lining material on the floor of their tractors. Hopefully this thread will catch the eye of a couple of guys...

Used Rhino in quart size to cover bed, tailgate, floorboards on Kawasaki Mule. All tractor floorboards & steps are double coated.
