lineing drainage ditches.

What about grass? Put down a mesh material and stake it into place. I had to do this for a 36" culvert that runs under the road onto our farm ground.

mowing and trimming along both sides of the ditch is what I'm trying to avoid or at least drastically reduce or make easier and quicker.

Ground cover ivy, dont have to mow it, trim it to where the grass is and forget it.
