So anyway, racked up about 6 hours with it today.. doing the job I wanted it to do admirably!

He had both the Linebach and the County Line sitting side by side in his lot. other than the adjustment screws and the 20 vs 18 inch discs the two were IDENTICAL.. if you dont think the County Line (TSC) looks good in person then you wouldn't like the Linebach either.

That's odd. The Leinbachs had much better discs/bearings/etc. I guess they could have replaced them with the cheap imported stuff. How much were they asking for it?

Oh well, hope it works for you. I went from looking at the TSC to the Woods, and it's almost $1000 more but much heavier duty. The TSC would probably be fine for my uses, but I have heavy clay and lots of rocks and wasn't going to risk it based on the reviews.

So far so good, it will only see light use a couple times a year anyway.. food plots, garden etc.

This one lists at $1299, he sold it to me for $1150 delivered.

95% of my ground is sandy soil (dirty sand really:D) So its pretty easy going..

I've just had a 7 acre field cleared out of my woods, had a guy stump it for me and now I'm working on getting it ready to plant..

This is what I'm dealing with...

And working on it..

Oh, wow... that looks like great soil to work with. I'm sure the TSC will work fine! How does stuff grow in that?

I have heavy clay, and it's either basically wet quick sand, or dry and hard as a rock... there is no middle ground.

I'm new here so I'm not sure how stuff grows, but the woods were thick with undergrowth and lots of vines.. so I'm hoping. Need to get my soil samples done and see what it needs to get started!
