It's a great machine. It's basic Mig but the one I ran was very impressive. For a standard Mig unit. I'd consider it over the Miller.

All I do is mig but I’m wanting to get a spoolgun or a push/pull setup to do aluminum.
I have a big power source with a separate wire feed but rats got in it during our move and chewed wires and the mother board. It’s old enough that I either can’t get the parts I need or their too expensive to put in a 30 yr old machine.
I think the 260 will do everything I want/need to do. I’ve also looked at the Miller 255 but it’s 700 more and I can’t see any gain

The Miller 255 has pulse. That is a big gain if you are deciding between just the two. But if you don't then they are pretty even on the features they offer. I do like the big display of the 260.

The Miller also has better after market support and it's accessories such as a spool gun are much easier to find used. I run a Lincoln 350MP and love it. Buttery smoooooth.

That is going to depend upon your local dealer and service center. Both have good support.
