Anyone know where a guy can pick up a lime box drop spreader around the eastern half of Ohio or Western Pennsylvania. Six footer would be great. Thanks. RRM
Search Craigslist with the word "spreader" and you'll find many. A six footer will be hard to come by, most are 8, 10, and 12. Gandy is one of the few that made a 6' drop spreader.
Another vote for Craigslist, you might also look around at rental places and see if they're selling any old ones, once the equipment has been depreciated out on taxes, they sell them, buy new and start the process all over again.
I got my Gandy from an Ace rental store for pennies on what a new one would sell for new. If you can find a Gandy, jump on it, they're really good spreaders
