I had to move the playground to the back of the yard (200') so I could expand my pumpkin patch. . I wasn't sure if this would work but I bolted 2x10 hard maple planks onto the bucket. She was a little heavy but she made it.

Me thinks you have easy access to nice wood. Can I trade you some spruce for that maple?

5 years ago I picked up about 1000 board feet of maple at auction. The good stuff was milled and used for cabinetry, the rest is junk. I gave away most to a friend for fire wood.
This did work pretty good. One 1/2" bolt thru each board then up thru the factory holes on the bucket blade.

I think I've got a couple 2" maple planks left as well so I'll keep your trick in mind for the future!

Any Idea what that thing weighed? That is a pretty good lift.

Shipping weight for the entire set was 1200lbs. The only thing that is missing in the pic is the swings, plastic slide and ladder. I'm gonna say at most they add up to 200lbs. This thing has to be 900-1000.
