What is the lifting capacity of the TO35 lift arms?

I dont think they rated them back then.

What loader is on it? How big are the cylinders?

No loader....I'm talking about the rear lift arms.

That makes sense.

Not sure. I know the 8n which is similar is only rated @ 800#. I think the ferguson is similar but ran a higher pressure. So prolly around 1000-1200.

IS there something specific you are wanting to lift?

I move a lot of motors around and I want to get a gin pole. Just wanted to make sure I would be able to pick them up.

Your average motor shouldnt be a problem.

May have issues if you start working on big diesels though

It will probably make a difference how far out away from the hitch you are planning on lifting; leverage, ya know.

I am currently welding together a boom/pole so I have been considering the same issues.

been around to35 all of my life. Depends on how far out you are lifting. Should lift any motor but like the other poster said, you get to lifting diesel motors out of semis would need some counterbalance weight on the front.:)

Picks up Cadillac and hemi V8s with no problem. I moved about 6 motors this weekend. Tractor ran great except for that new ignition switch I put in it. Had to cut my new wires so I could keep working. Something burned out inside. First sign of trouble was it wouldn't shut off with the key. Had to disconnect power to the coil. Then when I tried to restart it it would start then die when I let go of the key. So I guess the contact for the ignition terminal burnt out.
