I'm surprised a local company will even do it if you mounted the bracket (so not a 30 sec job)... Our company does this everyday for a living & we wouldn't even touch a display to hang unless we install the bracket... to much liability. And many times we will we will not install a display unless we know the bracket manufacturer (or supply the bracket).

I don't know this is a bargain... I just picked up 2 pizzas last night & it was $47 + dollars... I add beer to this, I might as well hire the guys that have insurance...

IMHO... it is not just the weight, but the size, the awkwardness of the size of the display, the type of bracket it is & how it needs to connect to it & the comfort of doing it from a ladder. All I'm saying is safety first... if you're having doubts have someone do it. It's not worth the risk of injury (you can replace the display) but if one person is not up to the task it will not end well.
Here it is

Here it is
Me...I'd move everything out of the way, pets & people out of the room. I'd want 3 guys.
A ladder each end about a foot wider apart than tv. The stool in middle.
Have a padded quilt on floor bigger than tv.
Quilt out flat, no lumps.
Unscrew base (4 screws probably), two guys lift tv off of base, face down on quilt slow & carefully.
Then be sure mount for tv works in bracket ok, testing it a few times. Mount bracket on tv.
Guy each end carefully lift off of quilt, up ladders with third guy in middle...he's there pushing up for stability & takes load off.
Hook mount on bracket. Secure safety screws/bolts. Connect cables.
I would make a trial run with it's box first which is light.

If it works better after being sure tv mount goes in wall bracket properly is mount to tv, unscrew base (a guy either end holding set), lift it up off base (no quilt).

You see a lot of variance in the recommended viewing distance with the big screens. They seem to vary between 1.2 and 1.5 times the diagonal screen size. I have a media room with a projector and a 120 inch screen. The front row viewing position is about 13 feet from the screen and works great. And, high mounting of screens is strange. The center of my screen is about eye level.

My soon to be 97 yo Mom sits 20+ feet from a 27" Magnavox CRT set.

If it were me, I'd install a heavy duty screw eye in the ceiling header beam directly above the mount. Then use a block & tackle to hoist the TV into place. Just two people needed and no muscle required.

Remove the hook and fill the small hole with spackle or leave it in place for when you need to service the TV. You could also hang something decorative from the hook to hide it.

The house builder is coming over for another unrelated reason. I asked him if he had a couple buff workers who could lift the TV into place. He said of course. Monday should be a special day.

Good luck with the builders crew tomorrow. Remember to post a picture afterwards. Jon

The builder from down the street sent over 2 of his boys. They were part of the construction crew for my house 2 years earlier. 5-10 minutes later, the deed was done. I made sure I know what beer to buy them.
