Seems like any hoe work pretty much severly tests a scut as it is.. lifting or not.. hook onto a non moveable stump or rock....

I never thought of doing this. How about the parking brake. Shouldn't that be on while using the hoe? I dug a leach field for a friend and I had him pull forward as I dug.

The machine is held in place by the front bucket and stabilizers only. Parking brake is off. If you put the front bucket in the dumped position it will hold better than if it is just level.

I had a rear flat 2 weeks ago in the middle of the woods and didnt want to walk back to get tools i set back hoe bucket so it was like a ski off tward side of the of the flat and lifted bad tire off ground and drove back to shead.
Yea it was hard on the ground, tractor didnt event grunt it ran like it was on all 4 wheels
